Gabriel Kerfoot (b. 1999) is an abstract painter residing in London. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in 2021.

Gabriel’s paintings depict ethereal, atmospheric spaces that capture fleeting but powerful moments of human connection, moments he sees as meaningful bordering spiritual encounters. He visualises these experiences within sacral inspired architectural shapes and forms, using transcendent colours to emphasise the social potential and cathartic value of togetherness. By doing this, his work stands in contrast to the dehumanising pressures of modern society, suggesting that these emotional exchanges are sacred in a world shaped by systems that often overlook them.

“Within my works, you will encounter yearning figures, solitary or moving towards one another—an autobiographical representation of my own pursuit of inner harmony. Yet, they also symbolise our collective quest for presence, contentment, and peace in our everyday lives” - Kerfoot
